- Pre-move value
Caution: Limited liability applies to electrical, mechanical, and electronic items
4. Missing Items Claim Process
- List container contents completely
- Include approximate weight
- Document acquisition date
- Specify value
- Designate inventory number
- Identify container type
5. Required Documentation
- Retain Bill of Lading copies
- Prepare proof of paid moving charges
- Note: Claims cannot be processed until shipping charges are fully paid
6. Time-Sensitive Filing Limits
- Automobile Claims: 10 days from delivery
- Interstate Moves: 9 months from delivery
- Intrastate Moves: 90 days from delivery
